Educator Team Praxis

The Educator Team Praxis Awards recognise inspiring teams* who have demonstrated leading learning in “Distinct Educational Praxis” for an Islamic educational setting, meaningfully advancing an Islamic vision for education, or Culturally and Religiously Responsive Educational praxis advancing equity and excellence for Muslim learners in a non-Islamic school setting, enacting this vision/praxis innovatively, with positive impact on the holistic development of Muslim learners.

* The Educator Team Praxis Awards are open to educator teams, leadership teams, or teams in educational support roles such as student advisors and community liaison members. See each Award eligibility.

Educator Team Award for Outstanding Wellbeing Program or Policy

This award provides recognition for the outstanding policy, program, or initiative to improve learner, educator, or whole school community wellbeing implemented in an Islamic educational setting in Australia. The policy, program or initiative can apply to learners or learners and staff; a targeted group of learners; or the whole school community.

This award provides recognition for outstanding learning environment [re]-design implemented in an Islamic educational setting in Australia. To be eligible the project must have been completed in 2023.

This award provides recognition for the most outstanding co-curricular program, activity, or initiative implemented by an educator team in an Islamic educational setting in Australia. Co-curricular refers to learning experiences that enable and complement curriculum and add to learners’ holistic development. This can include, but is not limited to, Religion & Spirituality, Arts & Culture, Science & Technology, Leadership & Service Learning and Academic Clubs.
