ABOUT THE SALAAM ISAA AWARDS
“Those who do not thank people, do not thank God."
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), narrated by Abu Hurairah
The Salaam ISAA Awards acknowledge and showcase the incredible contributions of Muslim learners and educators across Australia.
Inspired by the above words of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Awards offer an opportunity to celebrate and thank those who give so much across our educational institutions and communities.
Every year, learners from around the country are nominated across categories including contributions to community, entrepreneurial, creative arts, and sporting achievements. Educators are nominated for their roles in fields such as student wellbeing, professional development, innovation in teaching and distinction in leadership.
Our annual gala event allows us to come together and celebrate the contributions of all nominees, sharing their stories, and giving them the public recognition they deserve.
